Join us for a Fall Color Trail Walk along the Ice Age Trail at Badger Prairie County Park. hosted by the Ice Age Trail Alliance, Dane County Parks, and the Verona Senior Center.
You’re invited to take in the wonder of Wisconsin’s fall wildflowers and foliage along the Ice Age National Scenic Trail on a Fall Color Trail Walk. The walk will begin at the Badger Prairie County Park Shelter. All ages are welcome to join the leisurely, guided stroll. The trail walk will be out and back, so walk as far as you’d like. You can turn around at anytime and gather back at the shelter for some post walk treats and refreshments provided by Oakmont Senior Community. The complete trail walk will be about 60 minutes (approximately 2.0 miles).
In addition, anyone interested in seeing the new Oakmont apartments is invited for a casual walk through after the trail walk and refreshments. Event starts and ends at the Badger Prairie County Park Shelter. Please bring a water bottle. Free parking. Restrooms available at the shelter. Please RSVP to the Verona Senior Center at 608-845-7471.
