Event Description
Help remove garlic mustard, Dame’s rocket, parsnip, and hedge parsley from the woods and prairie areas. These invasive plants crowd out our native spring wildflowers, prairie plants, and grasses. Spring is a good time to remove them before they go to seed. Tools will be provided. No experience necessary. Sign up required. You are more than welcome to participate even if you cannot stay the entire time. Please dress for the weather. Long pants, long sleeve shirt, hat, work gloves recommended. Sunscreen and/or bug spray may also be needed. Bring drinking water and a snack if desired. Do not attend if experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms. Shared equipment will be sanitized. Please meet at the far south end of Hidden Farm Road next to the woods. You may park along the road.
