Stargazing Event at Donald Park

Join the Friends of Donald Park and Madison Astronomical Society on Saturday, August 6th at 8:00 p.m. at Pop’s Knoll picnic area for a close-up look at the fabulous night sky. Bring your family and friends and learn about the wonders of planets and stars. Telescopes and an evening fire will be provided. Bring your own telescope (if you have one) or binoculars, chair or blanket, insect repellent, flashlight, and marshmallows for roasting. Volunteers from the Madison Astronomical Society will be giving a brief presentation before the event begins.
