Event Description
This summer we will focus on eradicating invasive species with hand tools in priority areas so that native plants can flourish. We work in teams and no experience is necessary, just a love for the natural world and a desire to help out. Donald Park is a large park with three parking lots, and our meeting location will vary depending on the area we will work in. Wear long pants, long sleeves and closed-toe shoes. Bring water and garden gloves, if you have them, we have some to lend out. We will provide cookies at break time. Please RSVP to the work party leader, Liz McBride, at elizabeth-mcbride@sbcglobal.net by the Friday before so she can give you a specific meeting place and can contact you if we need to cancel.
