Some Trails CLOSED Due to Restoration Project

Some trails at Walking Iron County Park will be CLOSED beginning March 26, 2025 to November 1, 2025 due to the Black Earth Creek Stream Restoration Project. Active construction will result in inadequate vegetation subject to erosion and create unsafe conditions for the public. This map (PDF) will be posted as a billboard at the Lions Park bridge and Segebrecht Rd parking area. Sign up to receive closure notifications on this or other Dane County Parks properties.
